Jenny Haley
Charity Management - UK
Jenny Haley has worked in the not-for-profit sector for over twenty years. From 1989 to 1995 she was administrator/fundraiser for the Legal Assistance Trust, a charity set up in the UK to support and raise funds for the Legal Resources Centre of South Africa, an NGO which was formed at the height of the apartheid era to provide access to justice for marginalised South Africans and still continues to fight and win landmark cases focussed on land and housing, education, health and other essential issues.
From 1995 until 1999 Jenny was living in Cornwall where she was the administrator of a respite home for people affected and infected by HIV/Aids. The home was a national resource providing care for hundreds of adults and children who were referred from all over the UK and who visited for periods of one or two weeks at a time.
Back in Sussex in 1999 Jenny came to work for Chapel and York and has been here ever since, managing the UK Fund for Charities and maintaining a number of registered UK charities for Chapel and York’s overseas clients. Jenny also oversees the general and financial operations of the office.
