There are more than 100,000 grant making foundations in the United States and despite the present financial climate they offer major opportunities for obtaining funding. Our programs are designed to give you a cost effective means of accessing these opportunities.
Search
This program provides you with a list of up to 250 Foundations that show potential for being supporters of your organization.

Method:

Using the Client Information Form, you provide us with information about your organization and projects.
From this information we select a number of keywords for use with our database. How many keywords will depend on your organization, normally we would expect to use 20-30 plus two or more geographical areas e.g. England and United Kingdom or Uganda and sub-Saharan Africa.
Using these keywords and geographical areas, we search our database. The results obtained from each individual search are combined into a single report. This report (sample) gives you contact details for each foundation, including websites where available.
From this report you are able to carry out detailed research to establish the true potential of each individual foundation. We have found from experience that from a list of 250 you should find between
8-12 foundations ideally suited to your requirements and a similar number of others for which further action appropriate.
Grant Search
Simple in concept but of great benefit when seeking funding, this program provides you with a report on U.S. Foundations that have funded organisations working in the same/similar fields to you.
Cost: £115.00 + VAT
Method:

Using the Client Information Form you provide us with the names of up to 10 national/international organizations working in the same/similar fields to you.
We enter these names into our database and establish which American Foundations have funded them during the past seven years.
Our report (sample) gives you names of the supporting foundations plus the number of grants they made and their total value.
Note: GRANT SEARCH can be taken in combination with the SEARCH program or independently.
Search PLUS
This program combines the SEARCH & GRANT Search programs outlined above with the necessary detailed research to establish the true potential of each foundation and the applicable application procedures.
Cost: £390.00 + £15.00 per Foundation reviewed (minimum 20) + VAT
Method:

Using the Client Information Form, you provide us with information on your organization and projects and the names of up to 10 national/international organizations working in the same/similar fields as yourself.
We then carry out the SEARCH and GRANT Search programs as detailed above and provide you with the reports associated with these programs.
From these reports you select the foundations on which detailed research is required (minimum 20).
We then carry out detailed research on each of your selected foundations.
Our report (sample) gives you the information you will require when making an application to our recommended foundations. Each Foundation is prioritised as follows:
1 - Foundations exactly compatible with your organization;
2 – Foundations closely compatible with you, but not exactly, that we consider worthy of further action;
3 – Foundations that are exactly compatible and in our opinion warrant further action but either do not accept unsolicited proposals or state that they only make grants to pre-selected organizations;
NFA* - Foundations for which no further action is required in the United States, however we feel that some local action would be appropriate;
NFA – Foundations for which no further action is required.
